Head of Finance (f/m/d)

As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies and scalable structures that align with the company's goals and objectives. As the Head of Finance, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the financial stability and transparency of the company. Responsibilities Take over the operational responsibility to build up our Finance function, including hiring, performance & development reviews and team performance. Drive structure building, process improvement, problem solving and specialist knowledge growth in the teams, support where necessary. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including our tax office, banks, auditors, financial institutions and the Zurich/ DA Finance Functions Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements, budget forecasts, and variance analysis. Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash flow projections and treasury functions. Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes. Support the financial planning and budgeting process, including the development and monitoring of budgets. Requirements Proven experience in a senior finance role building new structures, preferably in the insurance / financial services industry. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in financial analysis software and tools. Sound understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and German (both fluent). Ability to work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team - as well as collaborating with corporate structures Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and management skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in financial records.
