Network Administrator

We are currently seeking a Network Administrator to join our customer`s team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our ccustomer`'s network infrastructure. Responsibilities: Network Configuration and Maintenance: Design, configure, and maintain the organization's local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks. Continuously monitor network performance to identify bottlenecks or issues, and implement solutions to optimize network operations. Take charge of installing and maintaining network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Network Security: Implement and manage robust network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address network security risks. Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and IT teams for network-related issues. Promptly diagnose and resolve network problems to minimize downtime and disruptions. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve complex network issues. Network Monitoring and Documentation: Utilize network monitoring tools to actively monitor network performance and traffic patterns. Maintain comprehensive documentation detailing network configurations, protocols, and procedures. Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track network performance and identify trends. Network Upgrades and Expansion: Strategize and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations based on business requirements. Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and provide recommendations for enhancing the network infrastructure. User Training and Education: Conduct engaging user training and awareness programs on network best practices and security protocols. Assist in creating user guides and documentation for network-related tasks and procedures. Requirements Technology: Our ideal candidate possesses a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio. In addition, they should have a solid knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and topologies, as well as familiarity with network security practices and tools. Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration and management is a must. Knowledge: As part of our team, you should have a good understanding of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software. Fluency in the English language and its structure, including spelling and grammar, is also important. Furthermore, knowledge of customer service principles and the practical application of engineering science and technology is valued. A foundation in mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications, is also required. Skills: We are seeking individuals who demonstrate critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to assess and solve problems. Additionally, your ability to make informed judgments and decisions, while considering costs and benefits, is crucial. Strong reading comprehension skills in work-related documents and the ability to analyze systems are highly regarded. Active listening, paying full attention and understanding others' points without interruption, is also essential. Abilities: We expect our team members to possess problem sensitivity, the ability to recognize when something is wrong. While problem-solving is not the main focus, being able to understand the existence of a problem is important. Information ordering skills, the ability to arrange things or actions according to specific rules, are required. Your written comprehension skills, understanding information presented in writing, are also valued. Deductive reasoning, applying general rules to specific problems, and inductive reasoning, finding relationships among seemingly unrelated events, are essential abilities we are looking for.
