This internship is designed to establish you as a broad technical TI expert with customer engineers and internal teams, and to teach you how functional product characteristics correlate to system-level requirements. Demonstrate your technical competency on product selection, systems, implementation and debug, as you prepare for a career as a Field Applications Engineer. Field Applications Engineer (FAE) Intern responsibilities include: Get into TI’s hardware portfolio with the focus on DC-DC convertersDesign or optimize analog circuitries to add functions, being able to program Cortex Mx MCUsVerify the system‘s robustness using oscilloscope, signal generator and electrical loadDocument your results as part of a system’s manualTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position. Minimum Requirements: Student of electrical engineering or related fieldFluent in German and English (at least B2)Basic understanding of electrical analog circuits(e.g. Power Supplies, Signal Chain)Hands-on experience with lab equipment (e.g.oscilloscopes)Basic understanding of analog design and powersupplyBasic programming skills (e.g. C)Preferred Qualifications: MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryWorking well in a team environment is imperative in this roleWhy TI?
