Join us at the Bietigheim-Bissingen site (Stuttgart area) as a Network Specialist / IT Project Manager (m/f/d) Your tasks Planning of IT systems and technical interface management in the area of IT and SCADA connection for international wind farm and solar projects Coordination of the network and data connection of turbine manufacturers, grid operators, direct marketers and other third-party systems Planning and implementing the secure communication connection of wind and solar parks to the central control room of the operations manager Development and implementation of standards for the NIS2-compliant communication connection of wind and solar parks in collaboration with the IT department of the operations manager Supporting the commissioning and troubleshooting of network components for the secure communication connection of wind and solar parks Contact person within the project development team for all IT and SCADA issues Your profile Degree, e.g. in computer science or electrical engineering or comparable qualification and at least three years of relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned field Very good IT knowledge and experience in network design and secure site networking (firewall appliances, VPN) Experience in the area of process-related IT and SCADA interfaces, ideally you are familiar with the systems of common turbine manufacturers in the wind industry High affinity for cybersecurity in the IT and OT sector Willingness to travel and experience in international project business Ability to work independently and maintain an overview even with a high workload Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English Communication and teamwork skills About us: wpd has been active since 1996 as a developer and operator of onshore wind and solar farms with 4,000 employees in a total of 31 countries.
