What will you learn in this apprenticeship? During your training as a Logistics Specialist, you will learn to receive goods, inspect them, and store them properly. You will also be involved in loading and shipping goods. In terms of optimizing logistical processes, you will be responsible for assembling deliveries and creating route plans. How does the training work? The Logistics Specialist apprenticeship lasts for three years. Here's an overview of what you'll be learning during each year: 1. First Year: Receiving and inspecting goods Storing goods Processing goods Transporting goods within the company 2. Second Year: Picking goods Packaging goods Planning routes Loading goods 3. Third Year: Sending goods Optimizing logistical processes Procuring goods Calculating and evaluating key figures You will attend vocational school two days a week as part of this apprenticeship. What are the requirements? To qualify for the Logistics Specialist apprenticeship, you should have a good secondary school certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate. Good comprehension and physical fitness will be beneficial, along with an interest in commercial and technical contexts.
