Summary Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information.DutiesThe primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Deputy Modeling & Simulations and Strategic Exercise Support division. To lead the members of the Models & Simulation to provide planning, direction, organization, and exercise control in support of mission requirements. To maintain, employ, and direct the Models and Simulations (M&S) programs software systems that provide realistic worldwide distributed and interactive warfare simulations support for EUCOM, AFRICOM, CENTCOM, NATO AIRCOM, and Partner Nations strategic level warfare exercises and training events. To provide technical expertise on items of command interest in the areas of operations, M&S, technical requirements, training, and other subjects related to the USAFEE-AFAFRICA mission. DUTIES Serves as Deputy Chief of DTC M&S and as M&S advisor to the Warfare Center and 5th Combat Training Squadron. Plans, organizes, and supports the activities of M&S activities and Strategic Exercise Support, ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Represents UAWC and 5 CTS with a variety of AF and interested organizations at meetings and conferences. Balances the interest of a variety of internal and external clients to the organization, the AF, DoD, and outside agencies to achieve mission goals and objectives.
