Head of Quality (Aviation Manufacturer)

GOOSE are working in partnership with an aviation manufacturing company who are looking for a Head of Quality to join their team in Germany. This is fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and to take innovative aircraft from prototype to full scale production. Key responsibilities: • Overseeing the quality management department • Working towards obtaining manufacturing accreditations and regulatory approval • Development and management of the QMS • Strategic presentation of auditing, KPI's and improvement programs • Supplier management • Training of team members • Monitoring quality performance and drive continuous improvement • Liaise with internal departments Skills and background required: • Aerospace / Aircraft manufacturing quality management experience • Experience in DOA and auditing to these standards • Proven quality management experience with particular reference to continuous improvement • Knowledge of cause-and-effect analysis and problem-solving methods (5 Why analysis, 8D reports, herringbone/Ishikawa diagrams), decision-making methods (Pareto analysis) and risk analysis (FMEA, 5×5) • Fluent German and a good level of English • Degree level education in a relevant subject is preferred Features and benefits: • Career development opportunities • The opportunity to work for a fast growing and innovative aviation company • Competitive salary • Flexible working time and potential for hybrid working options • Canteen subsidies • Plus other benefits
