Join KGH Customs Services, the leading customs services provider in Europe, and take on an exciting role as a Customs Process Administrator for one of our key accounts, the largest automotive supplier worldwide!As a Customs Process Administrator, you will be responsible for processing customs declarations for imported goods into Germany via sea and air, ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and laws. You will coordinate and organize the full range of customs services, from order acceptance to release of goods and customs clearance.Key responsibilities:Ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and lawsChecking and managing the documents required for the import process (plausibility check, validity)Checking imported goods for restrictions or prohibitionsEnsuring that all necessary permits and licenses are availableChecking preferences (formal / non-formal)Applying for preferential treatment within customs declarationsChecking commodity codes with all additional provisions according to EZT / TARICDaily monitoring of process disruptions / delaysCompliance with the 4-eyes principle to minimize errorsCompliance with performance and quality guidelinesCommunicating with customers, suppliers and customs authorities regarding document requirements and securing all necessary information for customs clearanceAvoiding delays and problems through meticulous preparationTracking the shipmentReviewing and organizing all incoming notifications and informationParticipate in Customs related projects as requiredTo succeed in this role, you will need: 2-3 years of proven work experience in customs or forwarder logistics areaCustoms declarant certificate is an assetKnowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to adapt to a new customs softwareEnglish B1German B2Ability to meet customer requirements (Internal & External)Attention to details and deadlinesTeam engagement and supportUnderstanding and implementation of Best Practice and Continuous ImprovementIn return, we offer: Competitive salary and benefits packageHybrid workingOpportunities for professional growth and development in an international environmentCollaborative and dynamic work environment with passionate and highly competent colleaguesAccess to cutting-edge customs software and technologyRecognition and rewards for outstanding performanceDon't miss out on this exciting opportunity to join a leading customs services provider and take your career to the next level!
