We are currently looking for a Lead Finance Controller - specialised for Internal Control, Statutory and Audit in Erkrath, Germany. The overall purpose of the Lead Finance Controller Statutory and Audit position is to drive and coordinate efficient statutory reporting and the external audit processes of the assigned local Grundfos entities in close collaboration with the Finance Controllers, and secure full financal reporting compliance. Main responsibilities: Drive the statutory reporting process, including the preparation, review and submission of Statutory Financial Statement, Corporate Income Tax return and other related country specific regular or ad-hoc reports Responsible for local legal obligations regarding Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings and other Corporate legal matters Coordinate the interim/year-end local audit and any external financial and tax audits, provide material and information as requested by auditors in collaboration with relevant departments Be main contact to local auditors and local statutory outsourcing partner Be main contact to local authorities as agreed with the country responsible Finance Manager (Lead Financial Controller) Assist Group Tax in Transfer price documentation and in APA processes Your background:We imagine that you have: Master’s degree in finance or accounting At least 10 years of finance relevant experience Leadrship skills with solid experience within accounting, financial controlling and German statutory compliance. Has been involved in complex year-end-processes and interacts comfortably with stakeholders, has a background as auditor or finance manager in international organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German required. Strong analytical capabilities and ability to work on complex issues Able to work under pressure, self-driven and proactive in building knowledge and expertise Conscientious and systematic approach to work and problem solving Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Solid knowledge of SAP Great communication skills What’s in it for you?
