Software Engineer (Kotlin, Java, Javascript)

We are currently staffing a Software Engineer Role @ one of Europe's leading specialist wholesale groups, which has recently launched their new e-commerce shop. You and your team will be responsible for the purchase process and the customer account within levejo.de. This includes the customer journey from placing a product in the shopping cart to completing the order.  To excel in this role, you should have decent experience with Java or Kotlin-based Backends. You will also use JavaScript / Typescript for the front end, but you can learn this on the job if necessary. Additionally, you should have German language skills, at least on the B1 level. | COMPANY The hiring company plans to expand their leading market position in Europe by growing their e-commerce activities and becoming the leading European e-commerce platform within their product categories. | REMOTE WORK POLICY In this role, you can work remotely from Germany with monthly (paid) trips to the Berlin office. If you want to relocate to Berlin for this role, your relocation or travel expenses will be covered. | MORE ON THIS ROLE Together with your team, you will foucs on the purchase process and customer account, using Typescript, Svelte, Kotlin, and the Java Spring framework. Decent Kotlin and/ or Java experience is mandatory for this role. Some experience with AWS Lambda will benefit scaling and availability of the integrations. Still, this and dedicated experience with Svelte or Typescript are optional for this role.
