At CARIAD, we are the backbone of driving functions and constitute the interface to the automotive mechatronics within the Volkswagen Group. We develop in (agile) teams powertrain, chassis and energy related functionalities, such as motion manager, steering, damper control or the charging of electric vehicles and many more. Thereby, we enable future innovations and new business models.Our team is the operational integration center in Vehicle Motion & Energy that efficiently bundles the different aspects of technical integration, integration coordination and test field services for all software functions and high performance platform computers in the domain. WHAT YOU WILL DO Coordination and responsibility of all integration activities of our high integration computerAs the integration project leader you will be responsible for software time schedule / content planning, release- / impact management, error-management, technical software-integration, data management, virtual ECU developmentInteraction with users, suppliers, contractors and with the internal software developers to insure that the integrated system is released in time and with the requested qualityBeing the major stakeholder for the team developing the processes and tools and defining the integration processes and methodsReporting the relevant committees the milestones, status, issues and metrics needed for the overall project management WHO YOU ARE Successfully completed study in the field of computer sciences, software development, mechatronics, electronics or a comparable course of studiesSeveral years of professional experience in the relevant areaExperienced in automotive embedded software, system integration, ECUs, car electronics, etc.Deep knowledge about the different tasks of the integration coordination or general project managementGood knowledge of chassis, powertrain and energy management functions in electrical carsConfident handling of usual tools for software integration, build environment, debugging, software measurements, measurements and calibration at the test bench or in the carFluent English and German language skills NICE TO KNOW Remote work options Temporary work from abroad in selected countries Flextime / optional working hours Company pension plan Annual professional development Sabbatical option up to 6 months 30 days paid + 10 days unpaid leave Possibility for VW Group car leasing If you have further questions about the candidate journey at Cariad, talk to Cari, our Cariad Chatbot. Can’t see it?
