This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany. and EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany. Hauptaufgaben Supervises the erection of US Army owned Fest tents comprising a total value of approximately $ 2.4 million. Ensure that tents (tarps, structural material) and ancillary material (floors, lights) are stored in a dry place in an orderly manner. Coordinates with using Organization the maintenance requirements (fair, wear, and tear). Performs organizational maintenance on structure and canvas when required at onsite location. Coordinates funding of maintenance requirements with supervisory personnel. Upon release of Fest Tent to user, travels to off site erection location. Conducts on site training of Erection Team (user provided) prior to erection of tent. Supervises the opening of containers and the removal of parts. Performs joint inspection and inventory of parts with the user. Supervises the erection of Fest tents and certifies upon completion that tents are safe for use. Supervises the disassembly and performs joint inspection and inventory of parts with the user to ensure that all parts are on hand and serviceable. Supervises repacking of parts into containers and ensure containers are secure. Coordinates return of containers to the storage site. Performs all work relative to the warehousing, storage and maintenance of fest tents and availability of associated/ancillary materials for (floor, lights, etc.). Conducts monthly In-Storage inspections. Maintains appropriate property documentation and conducts periodic inventories. Ensure that material is cleaned and directs minor repair as required. Coordinates movement of tents when valid transportation request is received. Performs other duties assigned. Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below. E&T Level II: 1 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 2 years of experience as defined in B below. E&T Level III: 1 year of experience as defined in B below. E&T Level IV: No additional experience required. Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade. C-6: E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 3 years of experience as defined in B below. Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc. Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled. The amount of the higher level experience must be in a reasonable relation to the required total number of years. • Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B and able to obtain and maintain a military driver's license. • Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain FLOP license. • Office Automation skills are required.
