Having you in our team, you will unfold expertise in customer-centric software development for infotainment and body functions in the car, mobile and beyond.We are strongly seeking for passionate, who are willing to transform mobility and its customers together!As SW Architect for CARIAD Maps you'll be responsible for the system and software architecture of our IDAV (Integrated Driver Assistance Visualization) component. This component visualizes the environment and combines location-based information with sensor recognition in a design-oriented way. You'll be responsible for aligning interfaces with our driver assistance teams and ensuring a stunning visualization in our instrument clusters. WHAT YOU WILL DO Analyze customer requirements and write software specificationsDefine, model and align software interfaces between IDAV (Integrated Driver Assistance Visualization) and our ADAS functionsAlign vehicle protocols and inter-ECU communication with our ADAS subsystems.Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, resource consumption and latency and establish a measurement system to monitor their evolutionEnsure compliance with software quality standards and best practicesSupport field testing and defect analysis WHO YOU ARE Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mathematics or computer scienceKnowledge in automotive communication protocols and distributed systemsExperienced in software development for automotive systemsWillingness to travel for field testing overseasProficiency in English and German languageDriving licence NICE TO KNOW Remote work optionsTemporary work from abroad in selected countriesFlextime / optional working hoursCompany pension planAnnual professional developmentSabbatical option up to 6 months30 days paid + 10 days unpaid leavePossibility for VW Group car leasing
