About the Role The Senior Process Manager is responsible for the development, auditing, and monitoring of key business systems. They must work closely with all facets of the organization and ensure cross functional continuous improvement efforts with the Divisions, Sub-groups and Regional Staff to achieve clear targets, goals, and expectations to support the MML (Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting) strategy. Your Responsibilities GENERAL Develop, design and improve the operational systems, processes, and policies to support Magna’s Top Priorities: World Class Manufacturing, Innovation, Leadership Development Lead key corporate or cross-functional continuous improvement efforts ensuring that clear targets, goals, and expectations are established, tracked and communicated. Develop linkages to ensure alignment and accountability regarding continuous improvement within the divisions. Develop and execute change initiatives involving people process, and/or technology changes. Share best practices and lessons learned across the divisions. Review project performance and prepare status reports. Stay intricately connected with technology, commercial and product applications to maintain a deep knowledge of current developments in the product line. Understand customer needs and then identify and implement process improvements aligned with customer outcomes. Lead structured problem-solving efforts and provide a robust process to problem solving. Prepare project plans and change management plans. Analyze relevant data to identify large scale improvement opportunities. · Monitor and measure the impact of changes implemented. · Develop metrics and analyze data for process measurement identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. · Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operational systems and processes. · Monitor production processes and adjust as needed. · Ensure customers’ needs are met in terms of quality, quantity, time and efficiency. · Develop Key Performance Indicators. Cross-Departmental collaboration to implement the company’s policies and guidelines and to jointly work on the achievement of the company’s goals. Proactive exchange of experience cross-division to ensure best practices are rolled out. Your preferred qualifications EDUCATION: Minimum completion of a University of Applied Sciences degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics Minimum completion of a University of Applied Sciences degree in engineering or equivalent areas Minimum completion of a University of Applied Sciences degree in IT or equivalent areas KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Professional (5-10 years of experience) Has experience with High Risk projects. Specialized knowledge & know how. Conducts higher-level analysis. Prioritizes tasks to take action, works with partial responsibility and minimal supervision.
